medieval-times-chicago.JPG (27160 bytes) During the dinner photographers came around and took pictures of the guest.  I thought this was a nice touch of marketing and at least gave us a photo of our group.  Curt McCall, Julie (Curt's friend) and myself on the right.

The dinner started with appetizer, followed by vegetable soup and for the main entrée, roast chicken (half chicken) spare ribs and a herb basted potato.  This was completed by a pastry desert.  I was extremely impressed at the quality of the food we were served.   For a banquet style meal where large quantity of dinners are served at once, the food was quite hot and excellent!.  One bit of warning for those not quite into the spirit of the evening.....dinner does NOT include silverware or utensils of any kind, fingers only so be prepared to make a mess!

medieval-times-queen.JPG (30570 bytes) Upon entering the main hall, everyone gets to have their pictures taken with the king and queen, ladies with the king, gentlemen with the queen.  They did have an excellent king and queen, unfortunately I don't have a picture of the king (yet).
