These
are some of the photos taken on Saturday, August 21, 1999 at the MN Renaissance Festival
in Shakopee. We started the morning trying to stay dry which was not an easy or
successful task considering for a good part of the morning we had complete downpours!
I used one of those "single use" panoramic cameras with limited results
to try and get some shots of the village after the rebuild. The new construction
looks pretty good. The photos below are saved as thumbnails to reduce page load

This is a photo of some of the new construction
in the Cartwheel Cove area. As you first come through the front gate and
turn left heading West, down beyond the Treetop Round area. |
The gentleman in the center of the photo above
is Curt McCall, tough to see him in this shot but the main purpose of the photo was for
the new construction in Cartwheel Cove in the background. I will have
to include a separate photo of Curt in his new kilt worn here. |

| Another view of some of the new construction in the Children's
Relm area and the Cartwheel Cove area. View looking West by South West
(for those of you with maps or into compass directions). |
A view of the mud towards the center of the
Festival shortly after you enter through the front gate. (It normally doesn't look this
bad, remember it's overcast and it's been raining a long time). You can see part of
Bad Manor off in the distance. |

This is a shot of "Bad Manor", the
site of the Feast of Fantasy. This has been a classic for many, many years. |
This is a picture looking down the center left
section of the festival towards the Big Bear. The bails of hay are part of Jacobs
Ladder. |

This is a view looking down towards the East
corner of the Festival. You can see the Legend Stage (the large ship) in
the distance. For those of you not familiar, the Legend Stage is the
performing home of "Puke & Snot", another MN Festival tradition. |
