Information about the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and other Renaissance Faires!
|
This page is dedicated to my love of the
Renaissance Festival! Every since I first
attended the Festival back in 1981 in Shakopee, Minnesota I have been an avid
and diehard fan. I first started attending the RenFest in costume in about 1985 with
the basic peasant outfit and from that point on I have continued to develop my current
costume and character (photo). For information
about the actual renaissance period, click here. |

Links
to Renaissance Artisan's Web Pages |
Listed below are links to the web pages for some of the Renaissance
Artisans that I have met. I will continue to collect info on other artisan pages and
paste them here as I can. If you have a page and would like it included, let me
know. |

Link to Ruth Thompson's web page "Tarnished Images". Ruth is
an artist that also attends the MN Renaissance Festival and has a booth "Tarnished
Images" there. Fantastic fantasy artwork, excellent web site. If you like
that type of art, well worth checking out. Personal comment: Ruth is a
very nice lady also! |

Omega
Artwork creates daggers and swords, "Sculpture with a point".
Located in St. Paul, MN. |
 |
Arms & Armor manufactures swords
and daggers. Very nice swords, some of them are a little on the spendy side but but
if you have the money, the place to go for a nice weapon. I love their pierced
blades, the only place I've seem them so far. Located in St. Paul, MN. |

DreamScape Artist:
Mark Maztke is an artist with a booth at the MN RenFest. I purchased one of
his pieces "The Kiss" a couple of years ago. The web page does not do
justice to Mark's work. Located in Little America, MN. |

|
Chainmaille Fashions: Randolph
Markhams's Chain Maille page. Randolph is the main person responsible for those
chainmaille fashion designs seen wondering around the festival. Most often it is the
the body beneath the maille that catches the attention but they do definitely catch
the attention. |
Links to Performers
Pages |
Here
are a few links to other Renaissance performer's home pages. Nice way to
"meet" some of the other performers and participants of the Fest. If you
are a Ren Fest performer and have a page you would like included let me know and I would
be happy to include it with the others. |
